French is an official language of 29 countries around the world, and is essential for travel to much of Africa, including North Africa and parts of the middle east. You will find French speakers all over the world. As such, speaking French is a very useful skill to have. Speaking French allows you to experience French and African books, plays and other works in their native language, and learn about diverse cultures all over the world. French is fun and relatively easy to learn, as English shares around 60% of its vocabulary with French.

French class levels
French classes at the Language Hub are broken down into 6 levels, with each level taking approximately one year to complete. These levels correspond to the levels given by the Common European Framework for Languages. Students start in Level A1, and progress through to level C2. A level C2 certificate acknowledges total fluency in French.

Carolina has a Master’s 2 Degree in Translation/Interpreting Studies from Montpellier University in France. She grew up in a bilingual environment which made her fall in love with learning new languages and understanding linguistics. She has taught French to middle-school students in Mexico and also Modern Greek to university students in France. She is a firm believer that if you work hard and believe in yourself, you can achieve anything you want, including learning a new foreign language. She is a friendly and dedicated teacher that will always be there to help you progress and answer any of your questions.
